MMM- MISTAKES MADE IN MARRIAGES. Part 8
Last week on my whatsapp message…
Dear Reminisce,
My name is Amaka, am from Imo state though am based in Virginia in USA. I have been following up MMM on Facebook for some time now and I would want to say that you are a rare gem. I have shared some of your updates here with friends and they all have good remarks about the way you narrate the mistakes that are embedded in marriages.
Please I have a little challenge I want you to guide me on. How can I advise my siblings on the right timing to say YES to the big question? Because they are almost missing out of the right time to get married and I don’t want them to make the mistake I made? One of them is very beautiful and has been placing suitors on a screening scale.
Dear Amaka,
I am glad that you have been following up MMM irrespective of where you are. MMM is designed to guide people like your siblings so that they don’t become victims of marriage choices.
From the beginning, God discovered that it is not good for a man to be alone. He created them both male and female and has provided spouses for everyone by virtue of divine destiny. Gen1: 27-28
Evidence have shown that spouses keep showing up as we journey down the road in life, but the ability to make a good choice becomes a serious problem that pushes many singles to pass through the choice indicator statistics as indicated below.
MARRIAGE CHOICE INDICATORS
AGE 18-23…………….. Dreaming Stage
AGE 23-28……………… High Expectation Stage
AGE 28- 32…………….. Searching Stage
AGE 32- 40……………… Desperate Stage
AGE 40 &ABOVE……... Frustration Stage
1. AGE 18- 23 DREAMING STAGE: This is the stage of youthful affluence. It is an era of fantasies. Both male and female build imaginative dreams of what they would love their future to be like, and they kind of spouses they would like to marry. The proposition here cannot be overemphasized because they speculative risk is that, if they get it right by their forecast it will lead to success in marriage choice, but if they get the forecast wrong it will lead to the high expectation stage in choice indicator.
2. AGE 23- 28: HIGH EXPECTATION STAGE: At this stage there is misconception in relationship puzzle. The player tends to miscalculate the right side of the dice in terms of choice preference. A lot of them have already graduated from higher institutions without any serious relationship they have groomed for marriage. At this stage they have begun to search for jobs and spouses at the same time, and career influence can be a key determinant of where to settle or who to settle with, thereby causing a very a choice conflict that can lead to frustration in marriage. The expectations are high here because of social relevance; in a sense that they are being used as groomsmen and bridal train convoy in marriages. This exposure becomes mirage to many of them because of the classes of marriage influence they have seen each time they go out, and these increases high expectation and eventually increases frustration that leads to searching stage in the marriage choice indicator.
3. AGE 28- 32: SEARCHING STAGE: This stage is the social village of the unmarried crowd. Where you have the slay queens and kings trying to take their products to their market place to search for buyers. Millions of youths fall in this category. They invest capital to buy good and sophisticated communication devices and peripherals to aid their advertorials in searching for husbands and wives on social media by uploading pictures and generating traffic of likes and comments to earn beauty glory. At this stage the risk factor increases because a lot of them lose their lives by falling victims of circumstances of the social media hazards, and these may lead to sexual abuse, prostitution, contacting HIV/AIDS, being used for rituals, loss of lives and total damage.
4. AGE 32-40: DESPERATE STAGE: At this stage the marriage bells are ringing very loud with pressure from the society, families, churches, peer groups etc. At this stage, there is discrepancies and excommunication in peer socialization, because some of the friends have segregated themselves from the group and view them as a threat to their marital homes since they are not married. This factor will trigger their desperation and reduce expectation by many decimals to restore their societal relevance. At this stage anything goes: “Man na man”, “Woman na woman” as they would say. Prayer point changes, “God please just give me any spouse available”, by so doing, fake prophets take advantage of their prayer houses and cause more problem and conflict by having their field day and feed on their vulnerability. At this point the victims become one Sister Nkechi or Brother Ubong in the church choir in total disguise to grab a victim for marriage.
5. AGE 40 AND ABOVE: FRUSTRATION STAGE: This is a problem stage. Hatred and anger becomes inevitable. Many people in the family will be accused of witchcraft. The victims will start to recount their past behaviors to check where they have gone wrong in order to find a fault on their misery. Churches will be accused of rigid doctrines that limit their chances of getting married. Families will be accused of their traditions and norms, bride price demand and deities/beliefs that limit their chances of getting married.
This stage will become a stage to look for companionship not minding the status or class. The ladies spend so much on make-up kits to make over their faces to cover the aging wrinkles and deceive their victims. The male counterpart uses dyes on their grey hairs with yuppie wears like jeans and polo’s to always make them look young and attract the under aged for marriage. At this stage child adoption becomes so demanding for the purpose of integration, lineage and companionship. At this stage will use their 25 years old pictures on their Social Media profile, disguising to be young in order to attract suitors, and if you eventually fall a victim of meeting them face to face you will know that “JESUS IS LORD”.
Amaka Dear, In view of the above analysis, it is obvious that your sister is still in her high expectation stage and needs to be educated on the damages ahead if she continues to screen on the scale as you said. I would advise that you tag her to this program for more enlightenment, or she can reach me privately on my WhatsApp or Instagram as you did. There, I can send her video and audio files for more expression.
Thanks for believing in my expertise.
